# Interval > Interval is a native meeting companion for Mac. Its screen-edge panel keeps upcoming meetings, countdowns to starts and endings, and overlap warnings in view. Manual notes are a supporting feature. Interval is made by Cory Parry, trading as Interval. Official website: https://meetinterval.com/. Every page listed below has a Markdown version at the same URL with `.md` added (the homepage is https://meetinterval.com/index.md), and the whole site is available as one file at https://meetinterval.com/llms-full.txt. ## Product facts - Platform: macOS 26 or later. - Calendar: uses calendars available through Apple Calendar, with permission. Read-only: Interval never edits events or invitations. Calendar details are processed on the Mac. - Google and Outlook: there is no separate Google or Outlook sign-in. Accounts whose events appear in Apple Calendar on the Mac can be selected in Interval. - Primary meeting workflow: upcoming meetings, preparation countdown to the start, remaining-time countdown to the ending, supported call links, reminders and a five-minute personal-timer extension that leaves the calendar invitation unchanged. - Call links: recognises supported Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex and FaceTime links in event details. - Overlaps: visible orange “Overlaps with…” warnings beside conflicting selected-calendar events and a later-meetings list. These are not automatic rescheduling or a guarantee of separate conflict notifications. - Screen placement: left, right, top or bottom edge; folds into a compact timer. - Supporting notes: bullets, checklists, searchable notebook, note export and optional iCloud sync. Mac 1.0 notes are typed by the user. The Mac 1.1 update adds opt-in microphone and Mac audio recording, on-device transcription and recoverable local drafts. Generated draft notes require supported Apple Intelligence hardware, language and settings; you can keep the transcript without it. Mac 1.1 is pending Apple review and release; it is not yet available from the App Store or website. Recording never starts automatically. Microphone and Screen & System Audio Recording permission are required; inform everyone before recording. Mac audio may include other apps and notifications; no screen images are saved. - Account: no Interval account or sign-up, no advertising network and no cross-app tracking. - Website access: lifetime access in GBP (£15.99), USD (US$19.99), EUR (€19.99) or AUD (A$29.99), paid once, with no recurring website billing. After purchase, Interval emails a download-page link and activation key. Paste the key on the download page to start the DMG download, install Interval, and use the same key to activate the app. The Stripe receipt is separate from the Interval activation email. You pay before downloading; there is no website trial. One licence covers two Macs. Automatic app updates are included. Website purchases are separate from App Store subscriptions. - App Store access: App Store purchases are separate from website purchases. Apple shows current pricing and trial eligibility before purchase. Website purchases have no website trial. - Availability: the website version is available now with lifetime access in GBP (£15.99), USD (US$19.99), EUR (€19.99) or AUD (A$29.99), paid once. Downloads unlock after payment confirmation. Public Mac 1.0 is available from the Mac App Store. The Mac 1.1 update is pending Apple review and release on both download channels. Check the homepage for current availability. ## Who it suits - Good fit: Mac users who spend much of the day on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex or FaceTime calls, keep meetings in calendars visible in Apple Calendar, and want to join and finish on time with a one-time purchase. - Not a fit: unattended recording or guaranteed AI summaries on every Mac; automatic scheduling or rescheduling; time tracking or billable-hours reports; a shared room or agenda timer for a whole team; Windows or web versions. ## Official pages - [Interval](https://meetinterval.com/): Product overview, interactive examples, pricing and current availability.
